Women Archery
Archery is the sport of shooting at a target with a bow and arrow, Robin Hood style. Unlike say, synchronized swimming, the sport is derived from the most primal form of human survival – hunting. Most people picture an archery competition as a group of shooters standing behind a line aiming at targets on hay bales. Believe it or not, that's only one form of archery out of eight! Imagine the level of skill it takes to cruise around on a set of skis, bow and arrow in hand, shooting at different targets. Now try it with 3D targets! In the Olympic Games, archery is in its most standard form, traditional target shooting. The competitor scores points based on how close they shoot the bulls-eye-type target. A good archerer is precise, dedicated, and knows that practice makes perfect.
